God Will Always Love You

Scripture of the Day: Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV

Play: Have your child draw a picture of what they think God’s love looks like.

Relay:  God made a promise to His people that He would always love them and would always be with them (Deuteronomy 7:9).  He gave them this promise, not because they were bigger or smarter or better than other people, but He did this because He loved them. As Christians, God continues the promise that He will never leave us or forsake us.  All He asks for us in return is that we love Him and obey Him.

How can you show that you love God this week?
