Faithful in Service

Faithful in Service
Play: At the beginning of the day, give your children something of little value to take care of for the day.  During your family moments, ask each child to tell how they cared for that item.
Relay: Sometimes we are asked to do a job that may not seem important in our eyes.  However, everything we do is important to God.  Therefore, we should not look at how big, important, or glamorous, a task is, but rather how great our God for whom we are serving the task. When we are faithful and do a good job with the small tasks that God gives us, He will give us more responsibility because we have shown ourselves to be faithful (Matthew 25:23).
Pray:  Thank God for giving you opportunities to work for Him.
Scripture of the Day: Matthew 25:23 - His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'
