God of All Comfort

God of All Comfort
Play: Have you child act out five scenarios where they would need to be comforted.  Ask them how they would like to be comforted in each situation.
Relay: We all go through hard times in life.  We fall and scrape our knee or someone hurts our feelings.  We might be made fun of or even experience a death of a loved one.  The Bible says that God is the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). This means that He will always help us when we are hurting; no matter what it is that is hurting us He helps us and as a result, we can help others.
Obey:
What does it mean to be comforted?
How does God comfort us?
How can you comfort others?
Pray: Thank God for being a God who always comforts us,
Scripture of the Day: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
