Being Obedient

Play: Have your children make up a story about a master and his servant.  Give them two minutes and they have to use the words “master” “love” “servant” and “obey.” The story must have a beginning, a problem, and a solution.  See how creative their stories can be!

Relay: Even though we use the same words, not every story is the same.  God has a different story designed for each of our lives.  Yet, there are guidelines for each of us to follow.  As Jesus’ servants, we are to obey our Master.  Jesus told His disciples that if they loved Him, then they would obey His commands (John 14:15).  We show our love for Jesus by obeying what He has told us to do through Scripture.
